Sri Venkateswara Swamy Devalayam TTD Visakhapatnam :
VISAKHAPATNAM: Adding another spiritual landmark to the City of Destiny, the inauguration of Sri Venkateswara Divya Kshetram atop Rushikonda has brought a new dimension. Built by the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) with an investment of Rs 28 crore, the temple complex sprawls over 10 acres, offering devotees a serene retreat overlooking the beach. Opening its doors to devotees from Thursday, the temple promises to become a cherished pilgrimage site.
The grand Maha Kumbhabhishekam ceremony for the newly constructed Srivari temple was conducted with fervent religious fervor on Wednesday, graced by the esteemed Pontiff of Visakha Sarada Peetham, Sri Swarupananda Saraswati. YV Subba Reddy, Chairman of TTD, highlighted the vision behind the temple's construction, aimed at enriching the spiritual landscape of Visakhapatnam. The five-day celebration commenced with Ankurarpanam on March 18, marking a significant milestone in the city's spiritual journey.
Expressing TTD's commitment to propagate Hindu Sanatana Dharma, Subba Reddy emphasized the organization's mission to build Srivari temples across the nation, from Kashmir to Kanyakumari. With the upcoming opening of the temple in Odisha in two months and the imminent launch of the Srivari temple in Amaravati, the spiritual footprint of Sri Venkateswara is expanding rapidly, with plans for a sprawling temple complex in Jammu spanning 60 acres.
Sri Swarupananda Saraswati commended the fulfillment of Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy's vision with the construction of the Sri Venkateswara temple in Visakhapatnam, under Subba Reddy's guidance. He praised TTD's meticulous adherence to Vaikhanasa Agama norms in constructing the temple, underscoring the sanctity of the deity's darshan, believed to cleanse all sins.
