Light House

The lighthouse is standing on the hill range known as Yarada Konda and the portion of the lighthouse site is known as Dolphin’s Nose overlooking the entrance to Visakhapatnam Harbour. Visakhapatnam is a natural Harbour in the back waters formed by Meghadri River and hills around. It is also the East Coast base of the Indian Navy.
